Apply Now! Men's Minister in Midland, TX

Stonegate Fellowship is seeking a Men's Minister to coordinate efforts to connect with men, encourage them to become spiritual leaders, and equip them to live according to God's calling.

Stonegate Fellowship

Stonegate Fellowship in Midland, TX is seeking their Men’s Minister. Planted in 1999, the church has grown to 3,000 in attendance and has been marked by a passion for Next-Gen ministry (as they put it, “We will Tell the Next Generation” the story of God’s faithfulness and power based on Psalm 78). Their mission is, “Everyday people being transformed by Jesus to love and influence others everyday.” It is a growing church with a very healthy staff and culture led by a highly team-oriented and collaborative leadership characterized by spiritual maturity, humility, and a generous spirit.

Over the next 18 months, Stonegate Fellowship has a remarkable opportunity ahead. Their focus centers on implementing a strategic discipleship process, which will serve as the foundation of their ministry. This process will not only guide their spiritual growth but also inform their new building project, ensuring that their facilities align with the values of discipleship and provide a conducive environment for transformation and community. Additionally, they plan to revamp the membership process, creating a more engaging and purposeful experience for those joining the Stonegate family. Through these initiatives, they will deepen their commitment to discipleship, strengthen their community, and inspire lives to be transformed by Christ.

Midland is located in the Permian Basin in West Texas, having a very arid climate. It is driven by the energy sector and the cattle and cotton industry. They have blue-collar and executives almost evenly, and they are close-knit but diverse. What they do in the Permian impacts the entire world because of its connection to the oil industry.

The largest demographic of people in this area is the 18-30y/o crowd. Midland has shifted from an older sleepy community to lots of life and energy. With the entrepreneurial spirit and available resources, that energy has fueled many recent projects with family and community in mind. It has created spaces for family and community to be together. Several influential members of Stonegate (current and previous Midland mayors) are now deep in the planning and building a cutting-edge community plan to bring people together.

The Men’s Minister will:
● Demonstrate a heart for men's ministry, understanding men's unique challenges and needs and providing relevant and meaningful support.
● Have the ability to engage and connect with men of diverse backgrounds and life stages, fostering a sense of community and growth within the ministry.
● Have strong organizational and leadership skills, effectively managing and coordinating men's ministry events and initiatives.
● Be passionate about discipleship, creating opportunities for spiritual growth and mentorship within the context of men's ministry.
● Exhibit humility and a servant-hearted attitude, prioritizing the needs and growth of men within the church community.
● Pioneer a new ministry in collaboration with Stonegate youth to engage fathers of the next generation.

If you exemplify servant-leadership, have excellent communication skills, are team-oriented, act
with tact and grace, are passionate about disciple-making, and have the heart to reach the lost
in the West Texas area and beyond, apply for this position today!
