The Job

Friendship Bible Church in Randolph, Ohio, is prayerfully seeking a Lead Pastor to shepherd their congregation into its next season of life and ministry. This isn’t just a preaching role—though you’ll do plenty of that. It’s an opportunity to build relationships, nurture a community, and help a growing church family continue to live out the Great Commission both locally and globally.

After walking through a healthy season of healing and clarity following a pastoral transition, Friendship is ready for what’s next. They are seeking a humble, Christ-centered leader who will listen well, love deeply, and lead with biblical conviction. You’ll guide the church through expository preaching, shepherd the body with care, and work alongside the Elder Team to equip people to make disciples who make disciples.

The Location

Randolph, Ohio, is the kind of place where people know your name—and they’re glad to see you. You’re never far from adventure either, with Akron just 20 minutes away and Cleveland within an hour’s drive.

Locals love Randolph’s simplicity, its annual county fair that draws more than 128,000 people, and the small-town charm that makes you feel at home from the start. Their vision is to introduce people to Jesus—both in Randolph and around the world—and to make disciples who multiply beyond their walls.

With no debt, a stable budget, and an active community outreach, Friendship is positioned for future impact. From youth and adult discipleship to community partnerships and global missions, this is a church family eager to follow God’s lead into what’s next.

Each Sunday includes time for prayer, weekly communion, and expository preaching that points people to Jesus.
