Westbridge Church in St. Michael, Minnesota, is praying for the next leader to step into their story: a Youth Pastor with vision, energy, and a heart for the next generation.
The Heart of Westbridge
Westbridge Church has always been about one simple mission: people helping people find and follow Jesus. From its early days in a living room in 2006 to its thriving congregation of more than 1,500 today, Westbridge has been marked by adaptability, growth, and a deep commitment to reaching its community.
Their values are lived out every week: extravagant grace, intentional community, humble serving, consistent generosity, spiritual growth, and serious fun. You’ll feel it on Sundays in the 60-minute modern worship services, in small groups that meet across the city, and especially in the life of the youth ministry.
Life in St. Michael
Serving at Westbridge isn’t just about ministry — it’s about joining a community.
St. Michael is a town that has blossomed from its rural roots into a vibrant suburb of the Twin Cities. With top-rated schools, safe neighborhoods, and a population of 22,000, it’s a place where families put down roots and neighbors know each other by name.
For those who love the outdoors, the city offers trails, parks, and waterways just a short distance away. For those who crave culture and nightlife, Minneapolis is only 30 minutes down the road. St. Michael is the best of both worlds: quiet enough to raise a family, connected enough to enjoy the energy of the city.
It’s the kind of place where you can coach your kid’s soccer team on Saturday morning, head to a concert in Minneapolis that night, and worship with a thriving congregation on Sunday.
The Role of Youth Pastor
As Youth Pastor at Westbridge, you’ll step into a ministry that’s already alive with momentum.
You’ll get to:
● Create environments where 6th–12th graders encounter Jesus and build friendships.
● Equip and inspire leaders who will walk alongside students as mentors.
● Partner with parents to help families make faith a central part of their home.
● Dream and innovate, shaping outreach events and discipleship pathways for a new generation.
It’s a role for someone who loves students, thrives in a team environment, and is ready to laugh, lead, and lean into the mission of helping people find and follow Jesus.
What They're Looking For
The right candidate is more than a résumé. It’s someone with a mix of gifts and grit:
● A self-starter who takes initiative and casts vision.
● A communicator who can connect with teens and adults alike.
● A strategic thinker who can build systems that last.
● A fun-loving leader who doesn’t take themselves too seriously but takes the mission of Jesus very seriously.
Why This Matters
At Westbridge, they believe that reaching students isn’t just about filling a room. It’s about raising up a generation that knows God, loves people, and changes the world. Every Wednesday night and Sunday gathering is an opportunity to write a new chapter in the life of a teenager: stories of faith, friendship, and transformation.
If you’ve ever felt the tug of God’s Spirit to invest in students, to equip leaders, and to be part of a growing, healthy church, this could be the next chapter in your calling.
The Invitation
Westbridge Church is offering a competitive salary ($60,000–$70,000), strong benefits (including health, PTO, retirement, and relocation), and, more importantly, a chance to step into a ministry that’s already bearing fruit and ready for its next season of growth.
But more than that, it’s an invitation to belong — to a church, a community, and a movement of people helping people find and follow Jesus.
