Apply Now! Youth Director in Taunton, MA

Christ Community Church is looking for their next Youth Director to lead students with purpose, energy, and Gospel-centered intentionality.

Christ Community Church Youth

Are you deeply passionate about investing in the next generation and shaping their future? Do you find fulfillment in relational ministry, where you can connect on a personal level, love the challenge of building strong, cohesive teams, and have a genuine heart for guiding students as they grow in their faith journey? Christ Community Church in Taunton, MA, is actively seeking their next Youth Director, a pivotal role designed to lead and inspire middle and high school students with a sense of purpose, contagious energy, and a commitment to Gospel-centered intentionality.

This position is fundamentally about relational leadership—fostering meaningful connections with students, collaborating closely with parents to support their children's spiritual development, and assembling a dedicated volunteer team that can effectively disciple students in a way that is both authentic and enduring. As a Youth Director, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by nurturing a supportive environment where students can thrive and grow in their faith.

The Youth Director will be responsible for overseeing a comprehensive range of weekly programming, ensuring that each session is thoughtfully designed to engage and inspire students. This includes planning and executing a variety of activities that cater to different interests and spiritual needs, fostering an environment where students feel welcomed and valued. Additionally, the Youth Director will coordinate impactful events throughout the year, such as retreats, mission trips, and community service projects, which are pivotal in providing students with transformative experiences that deepen their faith and broaden their perspectives. A key aspect of this role is to multiply healthy student groups, creating dynamic spaces where students can form meaningful connections, engage in open discussions, and experience personal growth within a supportive community.

To excel in this position, strong organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to lead through others by empowering adult leaders to make a significant difference in the lives of students. This involves training and mentoring volunteers, equipping them with the tools and confidence needed to effectively guide and support student groups. If you are someone who thrives on planning and systems, and possess the interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate others to join you on this journey, you will find a fulfilling and rewarding experience here.

Christ Community Church places a high value on creative communicators who can convey the Gospel in engaging and relatable ways, Gospel-driven shepherds who are passionate about nurturing spiritual growth, and ministry leaders who have a keen understanding of today’s cultural landscape and can address the real-life challenges faced by students. Experience with tools like Planning Center, which aids in organizing and managing church activities, and a willingness to innovate and adapt to new methods and technologies are highly advantageous.

This role is more than just a job—it is a profound opportunity to shape the faith of the next generation, guiding them to live boldly and authentically for Jesus in today’s ever-changing world. If this sounds like a role that aligns with your passion and skills, we encourage you to apply today and begin a conversation about how you can contribute to this vibrant ministry.

P.S. If this job isn't exactly what you're looking for, feel free to check the job board of open positions.
