Grace River Church Worship

Grace River Church in St. Peters, Missouri, is seeking a Worship Pastor to lead and develop their worship and production ministries with both spiritual depth and technical excellence. This pastor will champion a culture of authentic, Christ-centered worship that helps people meet, know, and follow Jesus, while also overseeing the systems, teams, and technology that support a seamless worship environment.

Key responsibilities include thoughtfully planning and leading engaging, gospel-focused worship services each week; shepherding, training, and equipping a growing team of volunteer musicians, vocalists, and production team members; and providing ongoing spiritual and musical development for those teams. This role will give leadership to all elements of worship planning and execution, including song selection, service flow, media, lighting, sound, and stage design, ensuring each service is both distraction-free and Spirit-led.

The Worship Pastor will also coordinate special services throughout the year (such as Christmas, Easter, baptism services, and other seasonal events), as well as oversee the creative and technical aspects of Grace River’s online worship presence to reach and engage people beyond the walls of the church. Close collaboration with the Lead Pastor and other members of the church staff is essential, working together to create cohesive, meaningful worship experiences that support the overall vision and teaching of the church and help people take next steps in their faith.

St. Charles County offers a high quality of life, with safe neighborhoods, strong schools, abundant parks and trails, modern housing options, and an expanding variety of shopping and dining. Just minutes from downtown St. Louis, the community provides convenient access to major employers, professional sports, entertainment, and cultural attractions, all while preserving a family-friendly, suburban atmosphere.

Grace River Church is a growing, vibrant community committed to helping people meet, know, and follow Jesus through worship, relationships, serving, and generosity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and leadership abilities, hands-on experience with worship technology, and a genuine passion for building healthy teams and reaching those who are far from God.

If you’re a Worship Pastor who loves leading meaningful worship, investing in people, and growing with a mission-driven church, we’d love for you to consider applying to join the Grace River team.

P.S. If this job isn't exactly what you're looking for, feel free to check the job board of open positions.
