The Job
Central Baptist Church in Wetumpka, AL, is searching for a Worship Pastor/Director to lead their vibrant and growing worship ministry. This position calls for a dynamic leader who can intentionally implement overtime to contemporary approach to worship, creating a multi-generational worship experience that resonates with all members of the congregation. The Worship Pastor/Director will be responsible for planning and leading worship services, recruiting and training worship team members, managing the technological aspects of worship, and collaborating with other church leaders to support the church’s overall vision. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, vocal and instrumental proficiency, and a strategic mindset to enhance the worship experience at Central Baptist Church.

The Worship Experience
The worship experience at Central Baptist Church is currently a blend of traditional and contemporary elements (leaning traditional), designed to engage a multi-generational congregation. Sunday services at 11:00 am feature traditional hymns accompanied by piano and organ, as well as contemporary worship songs (one to two) with instrumental tracks. The church is looking to expand its worship team under the new leadership, aiming to form a praise band that will enhance the worship experience.
