If so, this opportunity may be the one for you . . . Fairmont Park Church is currently in search of a talented Worship Leader and Administrator to join their team.
As a Worship Leader, you will have the opportunity to plan, practice, and lead worship services on a weekly basis. Your expertise in music, arts, audio/visual, lighting, and aesthetics will enhance the worship environment and create a meaningful experience for the congregation.
As an Administrator, you will be responsible to effectively coordinate building usage, manage special events, and oversee the Greeters Ministry. Your administrative gifting will be used to lead 60 plus volunteers and 4 teams.
A successful Worship Pastor and Administrator will share a deep love for the local church and have the determination, perseverance, and relational know-how who can collaboratively establish a shared vision and direction in conjunction with the senior pastor.
The Location
La Porte is a small town and suburb of Houston, located 45 minutes north of Galveston. It has a charming small-town atmosphere while offering all the conveniences of Houston just a short 20-minute drive away. La Porte truly offers the best of both worlds.
The Church
Fairmont Park Church was planted in 1963 to reach the NASA employees who had recently moved to the new neighborhood. From its inception, FPC has been dedicated to serving its community and sharing the love of Christ with those around them. Over the years, FPC has embraced a contemporary worship style, evolving into a modern church with variations on the contemporary style. This approach has allowed the church to connect with a wider range of individuals and create a worship environment that resonates with the contemporary culture.
The Worship Experience
At Fairmont Park Church, the worship experience is brought to life with an array of musical instruments, including guitars, bass guitar, drums, and keyboards. Their music selection is diverse, encompassing songs from impactful artists such as Elevation, Bethel, and Maverick City, as well as creatively rearranged old hymns. They have two Sunday worship services that are vibrant and exciting yet worshipful. Their preaching style is intentionally laid back, fostering a conversational and relatable approach that allows for a deeper connection with God's Word.
