Twin Cities Church is the largest church in Nevada County, nestled in beautiful Grass Valley, CA, and is experiencing an exciting season of growth. Having recently navigated a successful Lead Pastor succession process, God is moving powerfully in the church community. Every week, new believers are saying yes to Jesus and seasoned believers are growing increasingly responsive to the call to go be the church.
The Opportunity / Worship Culture
The worship team are first and foremost worshipers themselves, inviting other worshipers to fix their eyes and hearts on Jesus and celebrate the goodness of our God. While the church wouldn't describe themselves as overtly charismatic, the Holy Spirit is invited to be present in worship. And, recognizing that people's hearts tend to follow the posture of their bodies, people are invited to lift their hands or kneel as they worship.
The Role
The next Worship Arts Pastor will be inheriting this role from a retiring worship pastor who is well loved and who is leaving behind a very healthy Worship Arts team made up of both staff and volunteer leaders. The primary goal will be to chart a healthy, timely transition of the worship arts family from current leadership to the next, ensuring a continuation of vibrant and engaging worship experiences for the congregation.
The Worship Arts Pastor responsibilities will include:
- Leading the production of the Sunday Gathering and other primary corporate services.
- Developing and implementing a vision for worship arts.
- Identifying, recruiting and training up additional volunteers
- Actively engaging and encouraging the church community to worship God through a myriad of creative expressions and forms.
- Joining with the rest of the Pastoral Team in shepherding the church and speaking into key decisions that will impact the direction of the church.
