The Most Important Thing You Can Do This Week

"Choosing to develop character is difficult, because it requires avoiding the shorter, more direct path. It can be slow, expensive and difficult work."

things-to-do
It's Monday.

We're all busy.

So let me leave you with this. I promise it will be worth your time.

"Choosing to develop character is difficult, because it requires avoiding the shorter, more direct path. It can be slow, expensive and difficult work."
-Seth Godin

If you're like me, especially on a Monday, you're trying to get as many things ticked off your list as possible.  Quick gains. Crossed off 'to-dos'.

The LAST thing you want to hear about it slow... expensive... difficult work.

But that's what we're called to as church leaders.

Developing character takes time. It's not easy. And the enticement to take shortcuts as we develop our own or other's character is strong.

But that's what we do.

At least that's what we SHOULD be doing.

What meeting can you schedule right now to develop someone's character?

(If it makes you feel better, add it to your to-do list and then mark it off as soon as you make the appointment).

One of the best things you can do this week is to invest in another leader.

So... in the words of Larry the Cable Guy... let's 'Get Ur Done'!
