In this vital role, you will champion the personal and spiritual development of students by creating meaningful discipleship opportunities, fostering authentic relationships, and cultivating a positive, inclusive environment rooted in biblical values. Your leadership will be instrumental in building a vibrant, Christ-centered student ministry that equips young people to lead, serve, and grow as followers of Jesus.
Core responsibilities encompass the collaborative planning and execution of regular ministry programming, mentoring students through the unique challenges and opportunities of adolescence, and providing pastoral care tailored to their needs. You will organize and lead engaging activities, retreats, and mission trips designed to expand students’ spiritual horizons and empower them to live out their faith in practical ways. As part of the church's commitment to reaching students outside the church, you will creatively connect with unchurched youth through relational outreach, strategic partnerships, and compelling communication—positioning River Valley Christian Fellowship as a welcoming hub for youth in the Bastrop community.
The ideal candidate will hold a ministry degree and bring a meaningful track record of pastoral leadership, demonstrating both depth of biblical understanding and practical ministry application.
