King Street Church has a mission of engaging and blessing the community with the Gospel. They are looking for a Senior Pastor to join their team.

King Street Church in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania is on a mission to actively engage and uplift the community with the Gospel. They are in search of a Senior Pastor to become a part of their team. This pivotal role will involve not just preaching and teaching, but also guiding and supporting other team members with teaching abilities.

 

The incoming Senior Pastor will lead by casting a compelling vision for the church, overseeing the implementation of Core Values and objectives through the Pastoral Team and Commissions. They will also provide guidance and support by mentoring, coaching, and training the ministerial staff and key lay leaders. Additionally, responsibilities will include delivering expository sermons for a majority of worship services annually, creating engaging PowerPoint presentations, study notes, and planning sermon schedules well in advance.

 

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a servant leadership mentality, and a solid work ethic. The church is looking for someone who can effectively interpret and communicate scripture, and it is preferred that they are actively pursuing or have completed a Master of Divinity degree.
