The Job
Cistern Church in Houston, Texas, is seeking a passionate and visionary Next Gen Director to lead and grow its ministry to children, students, and their families. This role will oversee discipleship from birth through high school graduation, creating a consistent and engaging faith journey for the next generation. The Next Gen Director will recruit, train, and equip volunteer leaders, build strong relationships with parents, and develop age-appropriate programming that fosters spiritual growth and biblical understanding.
The ideal candidate will be a relational leader who inspires both kids and adults, can cast vision, and is committed to seeing young people embrace and live out their faith in Jesus Christ. This position reports to the Lead Pastor and plays a vital role in the church’s mission to make disciples who are fully alive in Christ.
