Apply Now! Leadership & Ministry Development Pastor in Littlestown, PA

The Leadership & Ministry Development Pastor at The Chapel will play a vital role in leading, equipping, and discipling ministry leaders.

The Chapel Littlestown

If you are a leader who is passionate about developing people, multiplying leaders, and building
a disciple-making culture, this opportunity at The Chapel may be exactly what you’ve been
called to next.

A Church on Mission

The Chapel is a thriving, non-denominational church located in Littlestown, Pennsylvania, with a growing multi-campus vision and a deep commitment to “Showing the Way.” With a weekly attendance of nearly 370 and a clear vision to reach 1,030 people by 2030, The Chapel is focused on helping people connect, grow, serve, share, and plant. This is a church that values both spiritual depth and outward impact: a community committed to discipleship, leadership development, and meaningful engagement in their neighborhoods.

The Opportunity

The Leadership & Ministry Development Pastor will play a critical role in shaping The Chapel's future. This is more than a traditional pastoral role; it is a movement-building position focused on equipping others.

This leader will develop and multiply ministry leaders, strengthen and clarify discipleship pathways, provide coaching and support to ministry teams, and help move the church from “small-thinking” to a scalable disciple-making culture. You will serve as a key partner to the Senior Pastor and elders, helping build the systems, culture, and leadership pipeline necessary for a growing multi-campus church.

The Kind of Leader Who Will Thrive

The Chapel is seeking a leader who is a true equipper: someone who invests deeply in others, strategic and forward-thinking, with a passion for growth, relational, engaging, and able to inspire people toward a shared vision, both confident and humble, able to lead while building strong teams, and committed to the mission of the local church and active in outreach. This is an ideal role for someone who loves developing leaders as much as leading ministries.

The Chapel is positioned for meaningful growth with a second campus launched in 2023, and continues to expand, with over $200,000 raised toward future ministry development, and new discipleship and leadership initiatives already underway. At the same time, the church is honest about its next steps, particularly the need to build a strong leadership pipeline and scalable systems for future expansion. This creates a unique opportunity for the right leader to step in and make a lasting impact.

Why Littlestown?

Littlestown offers the best of both worlds: a close-knit, peaceful community with access to larger cities and cultural hubs. Located near Gettysburg and within driving distance of Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Harrisburg, the area provides both quality of life and strategic accessibility.

If you are energized by developing leaders, strengthening ministries, and helping a church step into its next season of growth, we invite you to explore this opportunity.

P.S. If this job isn't exactly what you're looking for, feel free to check the job board of open positions.
