The Job
Kenmore Alliance Church is prayerfully seeking a Lead Pastor to provide spiritual leadership, biblical teaching, and vision for a healthy, engaged congregation in the Buffalo Niagara region. This role is centered on faithful, Spirit-led preaching, shepherding God’s people, and equipping the church to live out its mission in everyday life. The Lead Pastor serves as the primary communicator and spiritual guide, working closely with the Elder Oversight Board to discern direction, develop leaders, and steward the church’s ministry priorities.
The ideal candidate is a humble, relational leader who loves God’s Word, cares deeply for people, and leads with clarity and conviction. This pastor will cultivate a culture of discipleship, prayer, and outreach while encouraging staff and lay leaders to use their gifts in service to Christ. Kenmore Alliance Church is looking for a shepherd who can honor its rich history while helping the church move confidently into the future.

Tonawanda, New York, sits just north of Buffalo in a close-knit suburban community known for its affordability, stability, and strong sense of neighborhood life. The Church
Kenmore Alliance Church traces its roots back to 1890 and was formally established in 1915. Today, it is a thriving Christian and Missionary Alliance congregation averaging around 375 weekly attenders. The church is governed through a hybrid model that combines elder leadership with congregational engagement, creating both spiritual accountability and shared ownership.
The mission of Kenmore Alliance Church is to glorify God by making committed disciples of Jesus Christ who make disciples of all nations. Its vision calls people to connect with Jesus and His people, grow in Christlikeness, serve others, and go share the gospel.
