The role of Kids Minister offers you the chance to shape the vision and implementation of children's ministries, driven by the mission to create and send disciples who embody the love and life of Jesus. Under the guidance of the NextGen Pastor, your focus will be on developing ministries, providing leadership, enhancing communication, and offering pastoral support, all while fostering children's spiritual growth and creating a flourishing environment for families within the church.
This position involves crafting and guiding the Kids Ministry strategy at CyLife, empowering, supplying, and motivating parents to be the primary spiritual mentors for their children, as well as leading and equipping ministry staff, leaders, and volunteers. Other duties include ensuring clear and consistent communication between the kids ministry and staff, volunteers, parents, and the broader church community, managing seasonal CyLife kids events, and offering Biblical guidance to individuals and families with children from birth through 5th grade.
The ideal candidate will be a relational leader of leaders, someone who not only has the ability to connect with and inspire others but also has a proven track record of successfully leading teams in a similar or larger-sized church environment. This person will be a visionary ministry strategist, deeply passionate about family discipleship, and committed to fostering spiritual growth within families. They will possess a unique blend of innovative, “out of the box” thinking, allowing them to approach challenges with creativity and fresh perspectives, while also maintaining a strong foundation in strategic planning and execution. This balance will enable them to effectively develop and implement programs that resonate with the diverse needs of the church community, ensuring that the ministry remains dynamic, relevant, and impactful.
