## A Worship Pastor's Journey with Chemistry Staffing

Are you feeling called to a new chapter in your ministry? Jake Hunsicker's recent experience with Chemistry Staffing might inspire you to take that leap of faith. Jake, who has recently been appointed as the Worship Pastor at Valley Simsbury Church, shares his transformative journey and offers valuable insights for those considering a similar path.

Jake's story begins with an unexpected connection. "*I tend to be cautious towards the over-professionalization of ministry organizations and was a bit skeptical when Chemistry Staffing approached me,"* he admits. However, his initial reservations quickly dissolved as he engaged with the team. *"This bias proved to be an unfair pre-judgment as I experienced many spiritual yet intentional conversations with Chemistry Staffing. I was consistently surprised by the elevated level of organization and how they exhibited Christ-centered motives."*

The process with Chemistry Staffing not only led Jake to his new role but also provided a positive![image (32)](https://blog.chemistrystaffing.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image%20(32).png?width=329&height=247&name=image%20(32).png) experience throughout the journey. He notes, *"Additionally, the appropriately fast-paced nature of their model promoted a healthy mindset for me as I moved through the interview process and eventually met the team at Valley Simsbury."*

Jake's excitement about his new position is palpable. *"I am incredibly excited to be joining the team at Valley Simsbury and to soon call the breathtaking Farmington Valley my home,"* he shares. "From my first call with the search team, I knew there was something unique and exciting about their worship ministry, their church, and especially the people who call Valley Simsbury their church family."

For those considering embarking on a similar journey, Jake offers some heartfelt advice:

1. Embrace spiritual practices: *"I would encourage you to embrace spiritual practices of patience and listening. When things feel uncertain and timelines become fuzzy, be quick to fall back on the grace of the Father and seek Him in this liminal space."*
2. Seek guidance: *"I would encourage you to seek someone with both a pastoral heart and a little more time in ministry than yourself who can receive your thoughts and concerns and pray with you."*
3. Allow for personal growth: *"Allow this season to form you and your understanding of God. You are not fully defined by your work or employment, but as a child of God known and loved by Him who has created you."*

Jake's experience highlights the unique approach Chemistry Staffing brings to the table. By combining spiritual discernment with professional expertise, they create an environment where candidates can explore new opportunities while staying true to their calling.

If you're feeling prompted to explore new avenues in your ministry, consider following in Jake's footsteps. Your perfect fit might be just around the corner, waiting to be discovered through Chemistry Staffing. As Jake concludes, *"Thanks again for inviting me into this process and helping usher in this new chapter of my life!"* Your new chapter could be next.

Take that step of faith today. Contact Chemistry Staffing to see where God might be leading you next in your ministry journey. [Click here to learn more.](https://www.chemistrystaffing.com/candidate/)
