Embark on a Church Planting Journey with NEXT Community Church!

Are you ready for a transformative experience in church planting? NEXT Community Church is on the lookout for a dynamic individual to join them as a Church Plant Resident/Pastor. Here's what the exciting journey entails:

Year One Focus:
In the initial year, the Church Plant Pastor will immerse themselves in prayer, learning, and the assembly of a dedicated plant team. The church's commitment is to fully support the launch of the new church within a span of 8-12 months. Expectations for this phase include monthly preaching, assessing potential plant areas, organizing impactful community outreach, hosting prayer meetings, filling vital leadership positions, building the plant team, and crafting a successful launch strategy.

Budgetary Support:
Currently in development, the plan involves substantial financial backing for the new plant over the first five years, with a more concentrated support in the initial 2-3 years. The ultimate goal is to empower the new church to become self-sufficient by the fifth year.

Job Description:
The Church Plant Pastor at NEXT Community Church will take the lead in shaping, nurturing, and launching a new church within the specified timeframe. Key responsibilities encompass preaching, evaluating potential plant locations, orchestrating community outreach initiatives, appointing key leadership roles, and formulating a winning launch strategy.

About Next Community Church:
In 2010, NEXT Community Church took its initial steps as a campus of Keystone Fellowship, a dynamic multi-site church. Witnessing remarkable growth and vitality, NEXT emerged as an independent entity in June 2021, signifying a significant chapter in its evolution into a self-sustaining community. This transition marked a pivotal moment, underlining the church's progress and its commitment to charting its unique path.

For the past seven years, NEXT Community Church operated from a rented space, a testament to its resilience and mission. Recently, the church achieved a monumental milestone by purchasing its property. This acquisition not only symbolizes stability but also provides a permanent home, fostering a sense of permanence and security for its members and supporters. With a clear vision to advance the Kingdom of God, NEXT is now poised to extend its impact through a mission dedicated to planting churches. This commitment reflects the church's aspiration to multiply its influence and spread the message of hope and faith to new communities. By actively participating in the establishment of new congregations, NEXT Community Church exemplifies its unwavering dedication to sharing the love of Christ and nurturing vibrant Christian communities beyond its own walls.

Qualities Needed:
The ideal candidate for this role is characterized by strong teaching abilities, an entrepreneurial spirit, adept team-building skills, a fervent passion for evangelism, a natural visionary, courageous, and resilient. This role requires a deep understanding of the church's and community’s culture and DNA, along with the skills to assemble a plant team and meticulously prepare for a triumphant church plant launch.

Are you ready to be part of this incredible journey? If you possess these qualities and are fueled by a calling for church planting, we invite you to apply! Join us in making a lasting impact on communities through the transformative power of the gospel.
