Avoiding Bad Hires

Bad Hires

5 Things You Can't Miss When Hiring Your Next Staff Member

Hiring for your church can be a challenging task, especially when it comes to finding the right fit for your team. You want to make sure that the person you hire aligns with your church's theological beliefs, culture, personality, and has the necessary skills and experience to excel in their role.

Over the years, our work with churches has identified five areas that need to match up for your next hire to have ‘long-term, healthy fit’ potential. Miss any one of these five, and the chances for the longevity of your new staff member go down significantly. Misalignment in one or more of these areas is what bad hires are made of.

Have a great week in ministry!
