The Ideal Candidate
Kimmels is growing younger as a church due, in large part, to a strong commitment to expanding its ministry to children, youth, young adults and families. The new Associate Pastor of Family Ministries will bring their experience and expertise to lead and nurture the Children’s, Teen, and Young Adult ministries, guiding young people and their families to become devoted followers of Jesus.
The new Associate Pastor of Family Ministries will:
- Possess an equipper mindset to effectively delegate and empower lay leaders within various ministry areas.
- Have strong communication and team-building skills essential for coordinating and collaborating with diverse team members.
- Demonstrate the ability to take ownership of specific ministry areas while sharing vision and equipping lay leaders for broader ministry involvement.
- Be comfortable with preaching responsibilities and capable of leading in various pastoral capacities as needed.
- Prioritize equipping others for ministry effectiveness, recognizing the shared responsibility of ministry leadership and ownership within the church community.
