Oak Hill Church in Humboldt, Iowa is looking for a Senior Pastor who will fulfill God’s vision for the church through effective communication and relational skills. The next pastor will lead and direct the preaching, teaching, and discipleship ministries, and ensure that a biblically-based message of significance is delivered with passion and excellence. 

The Senior Pastor will act as the leader and shepherd of the staff and church, identifying and growing gifted people. He will seek God's direction, developing His vision for the church in a way that maximizes the gifts and resources available. 

The right person will have earned a Master’s of Divinity as well as show evidence in daily life of a deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. In addition to being an excellent preacher and communicator of scripture, Oak Hill's next pastor will be an excellent recruiter of gifted leaders and a strong encourager to all. 

Humboldt is the largest town in the rural farming community of Humboldt County, and it is a relatively affluent city for its size compared to other rural communities. The charming community is friendly, quiet, and safe, with a Midwestern work ethic. It is a family-friendly town with a lot of community spirit.
