Meet our newest team members!

Like many of you, the beginning of December causes me to pause and look back over the events of the year that is drawing to an end. This has been a HUGE year for Chemistry as we have had the opportunity to serve some fantastic churches, connecting them with their newest teammates and helping them launch into new seasons of ministry. This has been a fantastic season of ministry for our team, and I am excited for what is going to happen next.

One of the reasons that I am so excited is that our team is growing! Over the last several months we have been slowly adding to our team of Church Coaches. Our Church Coaches leverage their years of ministry experience, and Chemistry's unique process, to help churches like yours find a healthy, long-term fit.

Let's meet the team:

Doug Ferguson

Doug is originally from Charleston, SC and after earning a Master of Architecture from Clemson University, spent a decade practicing architecture in Orlando, Florida. During those years Doug and his wife Kim were part of a  church plant which God used to ignite a love for the local church and a call to full-time ministry. Doug received a Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary and for more than two decades has served churches from the Carolinas to California (and places in between) as an executive and senior pastor. Doug and Kim have three grown daughters, two son-in-laws, two grandkids and one very needy labradoodle. They currently reside in Huntersville, North Carolina, where Doug serves lead pastor of Huntersville Presbyterian Church.

Doug’s continuing deep love for the local church is expressed by helping connect candidates to calls that result in thriving ministry.

She is originally from Columbus, Ohio but recently moved to Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, Andy, their youngest daughter and two dogs. They have two grown children back in Ohio. Kelly is a credentialed minister, a certified coach and she has a passion for ministry development.

Her work with Chemistry Staffing allows Kelly the opportunity to use her diverse coaching and ministry background to help candidates navigate their journey of finding the right position and to help churches find the right candidate for a long-term, healthy fit.
