Cool Spring Baptist Church in Mechanicsville, VA is actively seeking a dedicated Life Group Associate to oversee and enhance the ministry's operations.

 Cool Spring Baptist Church in Mechanicsville, Virginia, is seeking a dedicated Life Group Associate to help strengthen a ministry where people build meaningful relationships, grow in discipleship, and care for one another. This role brings together relational leadership and practical ministry oversight, supporting Life Groups in ways that reflect the church’s mission and values.

 The Life Group Associate will guide strategic planning to strengthen existing groups and develop opportunities for deeper connection and spiritual formation. Recruiting and training leaders will be a central responsibility, equipping them to lead with confidence, encourage participation, and integrate discipleship into group life. Alongside leadership development, this person will help provide care systems that support the needs of group members and the leaders who serve them.

The role also includes managing the ministry’s administrative responsibilities, bringing organization and consistency to the work that supports healthy groups. By collaborating across ministries and supporting church-wide initiatives, the Life Group Associate will help keep the ministry connected to the broader life of Cool Spring Baptist Church. It is an opportunity to combine a heart for people with thoughtful planning, helping create the conditions for meaningful community and faithful ministry.

Located in Hanover County, Cool Spring Baptist Church offers a welcoming setting for people to deepen their relationship with God and one another. Discipleship and meaningful connection are central to this community, providing a ministry context for someone who values both spiritual formation and the everyday work of caring for people.
