They are currently seeking a dedicated Family Pastor to join them in this endeavor. The role of the Family Pastor is to guide parents in nurturing their children according to Castine's core values: (1) To conform to the Bible; (2) To recognize God’s presence; (3) To cultivate their spiritual gifts; (4) To serve inside and outside the church; (5) To experience authentic community. The main objective is to equip, educate, and empower families, children, and marriages to walk in the ways of Jesus and positively influence those around them.
The Family Pastor will inspire and guide the growth of strong marriages, while also serving as a mentor for parents in nurturing their children. Additionally, responsibilities will include organizing and facilitating special events, camps, trips, and Vacation Bible School, as well as enhancing children’s facilities to create engaging and unforgettable experiences. This role will also involve overseeing small group activities and delivering occasional sermons on Sunday mornings.
