The Ideal Candidate

The role of the Executive Pastor at Eagle Creek Church is to understand, own and execute the vision of the Lead Pastor through resources of the church. The XP will ensure that the systems, practices, and policies and ministries of the church responsibly and effectively support the vision. This role requires a passion for both leadership development (helping the staff team thrive) and practical stewardship (running stuff well and getting stuff done). The right leader will possess a pastoral heart and instinct, a passion for gospel ministry, and proven skill in organizational leadership and management.

The new Executive Pastor will:

• Oversee the strategic planning for the church
• Help shape church and staff culture through effective communication, vision casting, and leadership
• Lead the operations of the church
• Manage finances and develop stewardship and generosity
• Provide pastoral care and presence for the church
