Expectation Church in Fairfax, Virginia is looking for a new Executive Pastor to join their team. This person will integrate the vision of the church in practical and administrative ways. Expectation Church has a highly collaborative team that seeks to empower and elevate volunteers so they will grow in their faith.
The Executive Pastor will support, coach, and assess staff while ensuring necessary compliance and consistency with HR benefits administration. While implementing processes to optimize operational capabilities, he/she will review, create, and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective operation of the church. Ultimately, this role will collaborate with the pastoral team regarding ministry administration and implementation of mission and vision, striving to expand and unify the church.
The successful candidate will show learning agility and leadership skills as well as patience. It is important that this person be familiar with HR benefits administration, with a propensity toward data and analytics.
Fairfax County consists of multiple suburbs that are joined together. Fairfax is in the Northern Virginia area and is close to Washington, D.C. Government contracting, military, and federal government make up a significant portion of the job industry. Politically, Fairfax is more liberal than conservative.
