Next Community Church in Schwenksville, Pennsylvania is seeking a Director of Children’s Ministry to join their team. They view children as high value and desire to teach them about Jesus to allow strong roots of faith to grow at an early age. They also desire to support and minister to parents and families, as they are the main source of discipleship in a child’s life.

This position will lead excellent Sunday morning experiences for the kids as well as plan events. In addition to recruiting, training, and encouraging a volunteer team, the Director will equip and walk alongside parents. This person will be a key player on the staff team, as collaboration and teamwork are important staff values.

The Director will help create, build and grow the children's (and young families) ministry at Next Community Church. The right candidate will be a team builder with communication and administrative skills. It is important that the Director be a leader and a vision caster.

The Schwenksville area is the perfect blend of suburban, rural, and close to urban! There are great schools and beautiful green spaces and parks for outdoor activities and enjoyment. They are close to historic Philadelphia (30 minutes); the beach and Atlantic Ocean (2 hours); mountains (1 hour); New York and Washington DC (3 hours).
