Trinity Church (EFCA) is a vibrant group of believers that want to help others find life in Christ in the Stanton, Michigan community. They are prayerfully seeking someone to be the next Associate Pastor of Youth and Connection at Trinity. They are looking for someone who is a seeker of God, a learner of truth, an influencer in the community, and an investor in God’s Kingdom.
The Associate Pastor of Youth and Connection will effectively develop students to also be seekers of God, learners of truth, influencers of their community, and investors in the kingdom. This includes helping students to impact their community, which may include evangelism, loving people, discovering how your work matters to God, and more. In addition to serving as the primary Bible teacher for middle and high school students, this role will cast vision, articulate direction, and provide spiritual encouragement to parents and volunteer staff in the ministry. The Associate Pastor of Youth and Connection will also develop and maintain a follow-up strategy to connect individuals to ministry and service opportunities.
The right candidate will have a vibrant and growing walk with the Lord as well as strong public communication skills (teaching & preaching). Trinity Church is looking for someone with experience in leadership development and team building along with a demonstrated history of strong, positive interpersonal skills, including extensive experience in conflict resolution.
Nestled between small lakes and public recreation areas in west-central lower Michigan, the city of Stanton offers a small-town environment with agricultural roots, a low cost of living, and high quality of life. Conveniently located within an hour’s drive of more populated areas (Grand Rapids, Lansing, Mt.
