New Life Dyersburg is looking for an Associate Pastor of Next Gen Ministries!

The Opportunity

New Life Church started as a house church in 2023 following a season of prayer and fasting in response to God’s calling for a new beginning. Since that time the church has grown to more than 350 average weekly attendees meeting in two services at the local sports plex. God continues to bring salvations and baptisms as the people of New Life Church step out in faith to BE the church in their community. With this continued growth, New Life Church seeks its second full-time pastor to lead and equip across all Next Gen ministries.

The Ideal Candidate

The new Associate Pastor of Next Gen Ministries will:

• Display an easy-going demeanor, possessing a good sense of humor to navigate ministry challenges with grace and positivity.
• Exhibit loyalty and trustworthiness in building strong relationships and fostering a reliable team dynamic within Next Gen ministries.
• Be hardworking and dedicated to the role, displaying a strong work ethic and commitment to ministry responsibilities.
• Emphasize the importance of collaboration and teamwork, serving as a team player who can effectively engage with staff and volunteers.
• Honor others through actions and words, promoting a culture of respect and appreciation within the ministry setting.
• Possess self-motivation, driving their own initiatives forward with enthusiasm and passion for youth and young adult ministry.
• Demonstrate a balance of equipping team members for success while executing tasks effectively, particularly under time constraints.
• Embrace a missional approach where ministry elements align with the Sunday message or series theme for cohesive worship experiences.

The right candidate will be a servant leader with a genuine love for students, kids, and their families. This person will have experience developing and leading volunteer teams, and will bring energy and passion to these teams. They will joyfully embrace the challenges and opportunities of a portable environment, and will thrive in an environment where few boundaries and many possibilities exist!
