About the Church
Real Hope Community Church (RHCC) was planted in 2000 in partnership with Converge Worldwide (historically Baptist General Conference) and will be 23 years old this October. The church met at the high school for 14 years before building a permanent facility in 2015. Over that time, the church experienced slow but steady growth, forming deeper roots in the community. They are considered and operate as a "community church" by having a strong presence within every facet of the community.
Craig Legel took on the Lead Pastor role in 2010 after starting with RHCC as an Associate Pastor of Youth/Music in 2005. The original pastor/planter served for 10 years, and in 2010 was called to plant another church out of the area. The church currently has about 125 adult members and is swarming with young families and tons of kids. RHCC has experienced much growth in the last two years and sees new visitors each Sunday. They are on the cusp of breaking the 400 barrier in Sunday attendance and more importantly than numbers, are seeing people coming to Christ and being baptized.

About the Area
Lake Mills is a beautiful bedroom community east of Madison by about 20 miles. They are right off of I-94, which bridges Madison and Milwaukee. It is a "Norman Rockwell" like town that has a strong sense of community and sits on Rock Lake where people enjoy boating and water sports in all the seasons. In many ways, it embodies small-town Wisconsin life: micro-breweries, boating in the summer, ice fishing in the winter, and an authentic sense of community.
