Why This Role Matters
Over the past two years, New Life's weekend attendance has grown from 400–450 to more than 600–700. And they just celebrated a record-breaking Christmas with over 1,500 people! The worship ministry, already supported by a healthy, unified team of 20–30 volunteers, is positioned for expansion.
As Worship Pastor, you’ll:
● Lead high-quality, Spirit-filled worship experiences that help people encounter God.
● Equip musicians, vocalists, and AVL teams to serve with excellence and unity.
● Innovate creative elements for services alongside the pastoral team.
● Shepherd your team with care, humility, and relational depth.
Who They're Looking For
New Life is looking for a high-caliber vocalist who can lead from guitar or keys, with the technical chops to work with audio, video, and lighting systems. They need someone with a shepherd’s heart, emotional maturity, and a track record of building strong teams. The right candidate will love Jesus, love people, and know how to create space for His presence to move.
Skills They Value:
● Exceptional vocals and musicianship
● Knowledge of ProPresenter, Planning Center, Loop Community
● AV, lighting, and production experience
● A passion for developing leaders and fostering unity
