70% of Church Staff Members Are Open to a Move in the Next 2 Years

When will you make your next ministry move?

Did you know that nearly 70% of current church staff members are open to a ministry move in the next 1-2 years.

Some are (no doubt) looking for greener pastures.

Some are wanting to escape a current ministry nightmare.

Others are desiring to move closer to family or 'home'.

But a great majority (maybe this is you) are happy where they are, but they know that they serve a God that may, at any point, nudge (or even gently push) them onto a new ministry assignment.

Changing ministry has, up to this point, been almost exclusively reactive. We wait for that nudge (or push) and then we start looking.

But what if that was turned around a little?

At Chemistry Staffing, we are trying to facilitate healthy, long-term roles for pastors and church leaders. That means trying to find places that there is a healthy fit that will allow you and your family to serve a minimum of five years.

We do this by asking lots (and lots) of questions... both of candidates like you and the churches we serve. We try to uncover three things:

1.  Green Lights. Synergy. Where do you and your potential next church agree? The more you agree on, the better probability of a long-term fit.

2.  Red Lights. We call these deal killers. These are the signals that you would NOT be a good fit at a particular church or ministry.

3.  Yellow Lights. These are areas that you might not agree entirely, but they are areas that we flag for discussion during the interview process.  Fully talking about 'yellow light issues' before employment keeps you from being surprised six months in.

By asking all these questions on the very front-end, we help filter and sort potential churches and applicants to find great fits.

And hopefully, great LONG-TERM, HEALTHY fits. Fits that will move you and the church you're serving forward.

Maybe you're looking for your next ministry role now. Maybe you're not.  Regardless, it's a great time to fill out your church staff profile and initial assessments.  We'll then contact you if and when we find a great potential fit for you.

You can fill out your free church staff profile here.

And if your church is looking to fill a position right now, we have thousands of profiles and assessments that are ready to be matched to your church's unique DNA and needs. We'll help you discover great candidates that will fit the culture of your unique church.  Let's grab coffee over zoom... I'd love to hear more about what your church is looking for and how I might be able to help!
